Physiotherapist
Master of Physiotherapy

Matthew is an experienced physiotherapist and valued member of the Life Physio team since 2016. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences. Committed to ongoing professional development, Matthew has completed advanced training in Dry Needling and Cupping Therapy, further enhancing his clinical skillset.

Matthew has a strong passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and extensive experience in treating a wide range of conditions. He specialises in sports injury physiotherapy, back pain treatment, neck pain, shoulder injuries, and post-operative shoulder rehabilitation. His results-driven approach focuses on reducing pain, restoring movement, and improving overall physical performance.

With over nine years of hands-on experience in weightlifting, kickboxing, and bodybuilding, Matthew brings a unique, practical understanding of strength training, injury prevention, and performance optimisation. This allows him to create highly effective, personalised rehabilitation and exercise programs tailored to athletes, gym-goers, and active individuals.

Matthew uses a combination of manual therapy, evidence-based physiotherapy techniques, dry needling, and targeted exercise rehabilitation to deliver comprehensive care. He takes a patient-centred approach, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s goals, whether that’s returning to sport, recovering from injury, or improving long-term function.

If you are looking for a physiotherapist in Melbourne for sports injuries, shoulder pain, back pain, neck pain, or post-surgery rehabilitation, Matthew provides expert care to help you recover safely and perform at your best.

Matthew is available for physiotherapy appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
