Jayson Ilang-Ilang
Physiotherapist B.BiomedSci, DPT (APAM) Jayson, an alumnus of the University of Melbourne, holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. Complementing this achievement, he also earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from RMIT. His diverse professional experience spans both hospital settings and private sports-based practices. At St Vincent’s Hospital, Jayson played a pivotal role in assisting post-operative orthopaedic and neurological patients with their rehabilitation. Additionally, he has lent his expertise as a physiotherapist to the AFL VAFA club Westbourne Grammarians. Jayson's professional interests are broad, encompassing spinal conditions, all types of sporting injuries, general musculoskeletal conditions, as well as WorkCover and TAC injuries. He also specializes in treating dizziness and vestibular conditions. A strong proponent of empowering patients in their recovery, Jayson focuses on individualized strength and conditioning programs, complemented by manual therapy, to give patients control over their pain management. His commitment to continuous learning has led him to further training in Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling, and he is currently advancing his skills as a strength and conditioning coach. Outside his physiotherapy practice, Jayson enjoys playing basketball, cricket, and golf. He is an enthusiastic Essendon supporter and relishes spending time with friends and his two dogs, Doug and Boma. Jayson is available for consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. |
