Master of Physiotherapy
Jason is a highly skilled physiotherapist with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from La Trobe University. Combining his expertise in physiotherapy with a strong background in strength and conditioning, Jason specialises in sports injury rehabilitation, helping athletes and active individuals recover from injury, return to sport safely, and perform at their best.
With experience across private practice physiotherapy, community health, and elite sporting environments, Jason understands the demands that sport and exercise place on the body. He has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the RMIT Big V Men's Basketball Team and currently supports Rugby Victoria youth teams. He has also worked with state-level volleyball athletes, providing injury management, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance-focused care.
Beyond treating athletes, Jason has extensive experience working with people of all ages and activity levels, including older adults and individuals with neurological conditions. He provides evidence-based physiotherapy treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in sports injuries, lower limb injuries, knee pain, ankle injuries, running injuries, tendon pain, overuse injuries, and persistent pain.
Jason believes successful rehabilitation goes beyond simply relieving pain. His treatment combines hands-on manual therapy, movement assessment, personalised exercise rehabilitation, and strength-based programming to address the underlying cause of injury. Every rehabilitation program is tailored to each patient's goals, whether that's returning to competitive sport, improving gym performance, getting back to running, or simply moving comfortably in everyday life.
A strong advocate for patient education, Jason works closely with his patients to improve movement quality, build confidence, and develop long-term self-management strategies. His goal is to not only help people recover from injury, but to reduce the risk of future injuries and optimise long-term physical performance.
Whether you're recovering from a sporting injury, preparing for your next competition, managing ongoing pain, or looking to improve your movement and performance, Jason provides personalised, evidence-based physiotherapy to help you achieve lasting results.
If you're looking for a sports physiotherapist in Melbourne, Jason provides expert care for sports injuries, running injuries, football injuries, basketball injuries, volleyball injuries, gym injuries, knee pain, ankle injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Whether you're a young athlete aiming to get back on the field or an active adult wanting to stay healthy and perform at your best, Jason is committed to helping you recover with confidence.
Outside the clinic, Jason enjoys snowboarding, playing volleyball, training at the gym, spending time with his dog Kuma, and searching for Melbourne's best deli sandwich.
Jason is available for physiotherapy appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
